In 2017, my direction shifted from working in acrylic and just painting landscapes, to playing with watercolor and combining the land around me to the stars above. I found myself wanting to connect the beauty of the landscape with the uncertainty of space. I love looking up at the stars or staring up at the moon. I daydream about the cosmos, what it would be like to experience every aspect of the universe. For me, it is where everything began. This body of works plays with the relationship between space and landscape. This way of playing with the cosmos and the land shows up in my more recnt works as well.
